On Saturdays between 13:40 and 16:00, bus line 69 operates on a rerouted path and departs from Karlaplan, which will serve as a temporary start and end stop during this time instead of T-Centralen. Plan your trip at www.sl.se
Fairy tales and stories are timeless. They hold what is universally human: the struggle between good and evil, envy and selflessness, sorrow and joy, life and death. Heroes and stories travel across cultures and belief systems. Names and settings may change, but the essence remains the same – they are all about what it means to be human, and they touch us all.
Travel through thirteen stories from every inhabited continent. You might meet a familiar figure – or discover a new favorite tale you’ve never heard before.
Stories help us remember what has been and imagine what is yet to come. They teach us about ourselves and our world. They make us laugh and marvel, think and feel, dance and sing.
In A World of Tales, environments inspired by the stories and their characters come to life through projections, interactive stations, and fascinating objects from the museum’s collections. There is so much to see, explore, and experience!
A World of Tales opens on December 13, 2025.
